Lucknow, December 4: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the employment sector is witnessing significant changes. Over the past eight years, the state government has redefined the state's economic and social landscape through its vision and strong policies. 

Employment opportunities in the state have expanded rapidly, and youth have received encouragement for training and industries. Women's participation in various sectors has increased rapidly; along with this, there is a clear glimpse of social stability and improvement in rural life. All this is possible due to the strong leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The most significant achievement of the state government is the decline in the unemployment rate. While the state's unemployment rate once reached a staggering 19 percent, it has now dropped to 2.4 percent. This change not only signals economic strength but also demonstrates the success of a policy-driven development model. The positive results of the government's employment policies, investment-attracting measures, and skill development programs are being felt throughout the state.

The state government's GCC Policy 2025 has given a new dimension to employment growth. This policy aims to create over two lakh new jobs. Concrete efforts to create a favourable environment for global companies in the state are providing youth with technical and high-level employment opportunities. Additionally, the UP Employment Mission has further accelerated the pace of job creation in the state by employing 1.25 lakh people in just one year.

The MSME sector has emerged as the backbone of Uttar Pradesh's economy. Currently, more than 9.6 million MSME units are operating in the state, creating over 200 lakh employment opportunities. Within a year, this sector has provided 18 lakh new jobs. This sector has become a huge platform of opportunities for micro and small entrepreneurs, and is also building a strong foundation for the rural economy.

The 'Skill Development Mission'(Kaushal Vikas Mission) has played a vital role in aligning youth potential with market demands. Under the Mission, 14 lakh youth were trained, of which 5.66 lakh received direct employment. This has not only provided skilled manpower to industries but also created local livelihood opportunities for a large number of youth. The increase in women's employment is one of the most impressive achievements of the state's social transformation. Today, women's share in the industrial sector has reached 25 percent, which has provided unprecedented impetus to the economic strength of families, gender equality, and social empowerment.

Major events like the Rozgar Mahakumbh 2025 and various financial schemes have not only provided youth with employment opportunities but also guaranteed minimum wages and social security. This has increased transparency and stability in the employment market. Public confidence in government efforts has strengthened, and the balance between workforce and industry has been more effectively achieved. 

The most significant impact of these efforts is being seen in rural areas. The increased employment opportunities are leading to improvements in rural living standards. Young people are now finding employment within their villages and regions; this is why migration to cities is decreasing. The increase in women's employment has transformed the economic condition of rural families.

Uttar Pradesh is steadily progressing towards its goal of becoming a Viksit State by 2047. Steps are being taken to establish employment as the mainstay of development, which will pave the way for even greater transformation in the future. 

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's leadership and policy-driven governance have proven that social and economic development can be taken to new heights through organized planning and strong political will.
